This is a Hall Red Poppy New York Teapot which measures approximately 9 ¼ inches from handle to spout and 5 inches tall with the lid on. Hall began making Red Poppy for The Grand Union Tea Company in the mid thirties and continued for the next twenty years. The bottom reads " Hall Superior Quality Kitchenware Made in U.S.A." In addition the name Hall is in the actual pottery. This piece is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and the platinum is in tact with the poppy pattern vibrant. This will be the centerpiece of your collection!
