GR181

OLD COLONY OPEN LACE COVERED BUTTER DISH Lace Edge is one of the most delicate depression glass patterns. That’s why it’s special when you find a Lace Edge Butter Dish like this! This pattern is also one that has had so many different names it’s hard to keep up. Lace Edge is the latest change, but we old collectors know it as Open Lace or Old Colony! Whichever name you want to use it was made by Hocking Glass Co. from 1935-38. This Covered Butter Dish measures 7 ¾" in diameter and 4 ½" tall with the lid on. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and the lace is perfect! There is one tiny flea bite on the inside rim of the lid, but you really need to search to find it. This is a must for every Open Lace Collector!

PINK OPEN LACE 3 PART RELISH DISH One of my personal favorites! This delicately 3 Part Relish Dish is in the Old Colony Pattern. Also known as Lace Edge or Open Lace this plate measures 10 ½ inches in diameter and is free of chips or cracks. A few of the pieces of lace do show some roughness around the inside if you run your fingers around them but nothing that can be seen, mostly felt, and is normal in this glass. This will be a great addition to your collection.

OLD COLONY OPEN LACE SHERBET Lace Edge is one of the most delicate depression glass patterns. That’s why when you find a Lace Edge Sherbet like this, it is fantastic! This pattern is also one that has had so many different names it’s hard to keep up. Lace Edge is the latest change, but we old collectors know it as Open Lace or Old Colony! Whichever name you want to use it was made by Hocking Glass Co. from 1935-38. This Sherbet measures 3 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter, to the edge of the lace. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks! The lace however does have rough edges in 3 spots, nothing that will take away from this hard to find piece and not that even anyone would notice as it is on the underside edge mostly. These probably came out of the molde this way but told for accuracy! You can't beat the price and will still add value to your collection!
