Fenton French Opalescent Fawn For the holidays or every day, Fenton's popular French Opalescent glass creates perfect home decor accents.

First popular during Victorian times, opalescent glass has been a Fenton staple since they started making glass in 1907. Opalescent glass contains a small amount of bone ash. During the manufacturing process, the glass is allowed to chill briefly before being reheated in a direct fire furnace called a glory hole. This chilling and reheating process causes the milky-white opalescence to form.
