FENTON BLUE OVERLAY LARGE MELON VASE This Blue Overlay Vase #192 was produced by Fenton from 1943 to 1949. During WWII Fenton made their overlay patterns for other companies such as Jay Wilfred and Weil Ceramics to name a few. Let me be clear though I do not know if this particular piece was made for either. Blue Overlay was originally produced by taking Milk Glass & covering it with blue transparent Glass. This ruffled Vase stands approximately 8" tall and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. This vase was reworked in 1949 and made the Beaded Melon Vase that was part of Fenton’s Tiara line. Don’t miss out on this great addition to your Fenton collection.
