What a magnificent combination of beauty on this Iridized French Opalescent Spiral Optic Satin Pitcher with a Butterfly & Floral design CV126 1C with a Sea Mist Green Crest & Handle done by Fenton for QVC in 1996! No other glass company combines the talents of the chemists, craftsmen and artists like Fenton does and this piece is the perfect example! The chemists creates the magnificent colors, then the glass artisans use a series of blowing, cooling and reheating steps to create the French Opalescent Rib Optic design on this piece. As well as the Crisp bands of fresh Sea Mist Green Crest that they add on the edge and handle. Finally the talented painters add their handpainted design to complete a true work of art!
This Iridized Pitcher measures approximately 7" tall with a reeded Sea Mist Green handle. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, discoloration and the pattern is intact. The trusted Fenton logo can be found on the bottom along with the signature of the talented artist who painted. This is also a Family Signature Series piece so the bottom is signed by Bill Fenton! What a beautiful addition to any collection! |
