DUGAN MARIGOLD GRAPE & CABLE ICE CREAM BOWL This one will be up to you in the end! What do I mean by that…? What I know for a fact is that this is a Marigold Carnival Grape & Cable Bowl. I know that this small footed bowl measures 6" in diameter and has an outward flare to the top of the bowl. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and looks as if never used. The problem comes in who made it? Both Dugan and Fenton made this bowl, as well as Northwood. I can discount Northwood as there is no marking. If I go by Fenton’s descriptions then I should attribute this to Dugan as when looking at the bowl the grapes on the top row they go to the left. Then again Ellen Schroy’s book shows a picture with the grapes leaning that way and attributes it to Fenton. So here is where you need to be the judge! Whichever company it was produced around 1921 – 25 and you’ll want this in your collection!

NORTHWOOD MARIGOLD WISHBONE CARNIVAL FOOTED B Step back into history with this Wishbone Marigold Footed Carnival Bowl that was produced by Northwood beginning in 1911. Not only does this ruffled bowl have the intricate overlapping shapes and orchid blossoms alternating throughout, the center has the overlapping flower like petals and if that isn’t enough the outside has the rings and cable and a leaf at every foot. This rich gold bold measures 8 ½" in diameter and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and has never been used. I say that as it came from a private collection, handed down to granddaughter who is now in her 70’s and downsizing! You will find the trusted Northwood N on the bottom of the bowl. A must to complete your carnival collection!
